Witschi Analyzer Twin for mechanical and quartz watches
This combined measurement and test instrument associates all functions of test equipments for quartz watches and test equipments for mechanical watches. It is the ideal test instrument for the repair service, the lab and watch sales outlets. Basic functions and measurement sequences, largely automated, provide a fast and efficient operation. Additional measurement modes provide a way to measure watches with special escapements. The instrument, based on the “all-in-one” concept, only requires a very small work area.
The following measurements can be carried out:
- Rate measurement for quartz and mechanical watches (considering inhibition)
- Measuring of the IC and total power consumption
- Resistance measurement: measuring the coil resistance or testing the coil insulation
- Supplying the watch with variable voltages
- Impulse generator with programmable frequency, voltage, pulse width and hack ratio
- Automatic battery test also alarm and buzzer test for clocks with alarm
- Function and stage testing for stepper switch motors with variable motor control
- Long period test for closed watches and movements: recording running, power consumption and motor stage, calendar switching and timing functions
- Graphic display of the power impulse form for open movements
- Instant analysis of mechanical watches with internal microphone (rate measurement)
- Automatic strike recognition for the commonest strike numbers
- Measuringmode for testing watches with special escapements (coaxial technology)
