Lampert electrode grinding motor with pilot holes
The grinding motor is a useful accessory for every PUK welding machine. It has guide holes with diameters of 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 1 mm, and 1.3 mm, which ensure that the electrodes are ground at the correct angle.
Replacement discs are available as accessories if required and can be easily changed using the Allen key provided.
To grind the electrode tips, the electrodes are held at a preset angle of 15° to the rotating diamond disc and rotated between the fingers. The diamond disc is securely embedded in a sturdy aluminum housing so that only the front side of the grinding surface is accessible.
The grinding motor can be mounted on the combined connection socket of the welding machine using a separately available T-plug. The motor is switched on using a button on the side of the housing.
