Lapping Film products are ultra-fine sanding tools for achieving fine and ultra-fine surfaces up to Ra values of approx. 0,03 μm.

A homogeneous, tear-resistant and low-stretch film backing made of polyester is used as the backing. The grain distribution is much narrower than with conventional abrasives and, in combination with a dispersion coating, enables the finest surfaces to be achieved.

All lapping films should be used wet. Water, emulsion or other commercially available coolants can be used as sanding aids.
