Adhesive oils are used in conjunction with H/.. (walnut) and M/.. (corn) granules and polishing powders. The adhesive oil creates a bond between the carrier material and the polishing powder. The bonding oils are also suitable for re-lubrication when the granules are dry, as well as for dust suppression, e.g., with HSC dry grinding granules.
