Bergeon 4503-0050 Vissin 50 ml, Screw removal liquid
Vissin was specifically designed to dissolve screws made of steel which have broken inside a watch plate, bridge or case.
Application
Set the item is set in a glass cup or appropriate container, cover with Vissin and heat. Slowly bring to a boil. The liquid will erode the broken screw and when a black precipitate exudes from the screw hole, you know the screw has been completely removed. Immediately rinse the workpiece under running water and clean with benzine.
Use caution because the liquid can eat through more than just the broken screw you want to remove.
