Bleu is a color touchscreen display unit designed to expand the readings obtained from Mantis and Belize. The two testers, Mantis and Belize (sold separately), measure the thermal conductivity of a stone and transmit the value to Bleu via IR.
Bleu clearly displays on the color screen the possible gemstones corresponding to the measured conductivity value. This facilitates, for example, distinguishing glass from garnet or ruby when testing red stones.
The stone color can be selected directly on the touchscreen to achieve a more precise indication of the gemstone type. The integrated database includes up to 30 gemstone types, including diamonds and moissanite.
