Cyanide copper bath, pretreatment for base metals, ready-to-use, 1 l
This alkaline copper bath is used as a pre-copper plating bath due to its excellent depth uniformity and adhesion, especially for base metals and even tin or zinc alloys.
Processing
The cyanide copper bath is used in a conventional electroplating system, such as the Wilaplat system. The pretreatment includes electrolytic degreasing and, if necessary, chemical activation. After cyanide adhesion copper plating, a subsequent layer can be applied using an acidic bright copper or bright nickel bath, which then serves as a universal base for electroplated metal coating.
