Dumont tweezers, Shape 2, Dumostar, 120 mm
The patented alloy was specially developed for use in tweezers and other precision instruments. It consists of a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, manganese, cobalt, nickel and silicon.
Dumostar is characterized by the following:
- Higher elasticity and corrosion resistance compared to conventional stainless steels
- Resistance to mineral and organic acids and salts
- Complete antimagneticity (100 %)
- Heat resistance up to 500 °C, which enables sterilization processes
