Isopropanol is a versatile cleaner and degreaser for workshops, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities. The solvent evaporates without leaving any residue and is suitable for cleaning metal, glass, and plastic surfaces.
For watchmakers, goldsmiths, jewelers, and polishers, isopropanol is particularly suitable for removing grease, oil, polishing compound residues, and other contaminants prior to assembly, soldering, or bonding work. In addition, it can be used to clean tools, workpieces, and work surfaces.
Due to its rapid evaporation, cleaned components are quickly ready for further processing. This is particularly advantageous for fine mechanical components, jewelry parts, and precision surfaces.
When stored properly in the original sealed packaging in a cool, dry, and frost-free location, isopropanol has a virtually unlimited shelf life.
