The JE270-2 pen plating bath is ideal for selective plating using rod plating, for multicolor projects, and for repair and restoration work. The resulting coatings have a beautiful fine-gold color. The electrolyte also offers fast and uniform deposition and impressive color intensity.
The coating produced by pen plating is very thin. If you desire a thicker coating, we recommend treating the item in a standard immersion plating bath. Jewelry parts that are not to be electroplated must then be covered with a suitable lacquer.
