The JE29-1 pen rhodium plating bath produces highly decorative, dark anthracite-grey and durable rhodium coatings. The electrolyte is ideally suited for partial plating using pen plating, multicolor work and repair or restoration work. The coatings produced are characterized by high color stability and resistance to handling. They are also hard and abrasion-resistant.

The coating produced by pen plating is very thin. If you require a thicker coating, we recommend treating the items in a conventional galvanic immersion bath. Jewelry parts that are not to be electroplated must then be covered with a suitable lacquer.
