These 4"-FLAT-TOP sanding discs are among the most durable and high-performance of their kind. Also known as 3M™ Scotch-Brite EXL Unitized abrasives, they are ideal for satin finishing, leveling, and removing scratches and surface imperfections on metal. In successive grits from coarse to very fine, they produce a uniform brushed, satin, or pre-polished finish.

Particularly suitable for jewelry work: Scratches, grinding marks, porosity, and parting lines on castings can be effectively smoothed out without removing valuable material. Instead, the material is gently compacted and smoothed. Coarse grits quickly remove deep scratches, while fine grits provide a fine satin or pre-polished finish.

Also ideal for finishing and smoothing edges in metal and enamel work. The grinding discs are prepared ready for installation before shipping and are immediately ready for use.
