Wilaplat Silver Plating Bath, 30 g Ag/l, cyanide-based, ready-to-use, 1 l
The Wilaplat silver plating bath produces ductile, high-gloss, stress- and crack-free silver coatings with a fineness of at least 99.8%. Due to the electrolyte’s exceptionally pronounced depth-of-penetration effect, grinding or polishing is unnecessary even with thicker coatings.
Processing
Wilaplat High-Gloss Silver Plating Bath is used in a conventional electroplating system, such as the Wilaplat System. Before electroplating, the surfaces to be coated must be clean and free of grease. To prevent electroless and thus non-adhesive silver plating, the rectifier must be switched on as soon as the workpiece is immersed.
