Bergeon 6495-12 Setting tool, angle 10°, Ø 12 mm
This tool is used to make settings in which a gemstone can be set.
It is reversible and has two sides with 8 and 12 notches.
Instructions for use
- Cut the desired number of metal rods (2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12) to a length of 2–3 cm.
- Insert the rods into the notches of the tool and secure them with wire.
- Solder the rods together at their ends.
- Then remove the finished soldered setting from the tool.
- Now cut the rods to the desired length.
